Complex Care Support Worker - Night Shifts

Salary: Starting from £12.57 per hour + Holiday Pay

Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to young lady with profound learning disabilities, multiple physical needs and complex health needs. The individual requires 24 hour support. Your role will be pivotal in promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being. You must be experienced with Epilepsy, PEG feeding and moving and handling.
We are seeking 2 Support Workers to cover night shifts on a 4:3 shift pattern. Due to the service users needs we are looking for female support workers (GOR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
About You:
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
- Previous experience in a Support Worker role for at least 6 months.
- Previous experience with supporting complex needs is essential.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
