Complex Care Residential Support Worker - Casual

Location: Rotherham (S63)

Salary: £13.72 + Holiday Pay  - weekly pay 

Employment Type: Contract for Services, Casual

As a Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. Be an appropriate role model to children in the home and help meet their practical needs by providing support, advice, and assistance. To help children address their problems, concerns, and previous trauma and work with them to achieve health, well-being, and education outcomes, enabling them to reach their full potential.

We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers, to work on a casual basis in Rotherham. You will make a real difference in the life of an individual with Autism and Learning Disabilities. 

Key Responsibilities:

· Delivering safe, high quality care in line with the individual's care plan.

· Build trusting relationships with young people, their families and the wider team.

· Collaborate with professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.

· Monitor and document the young person's progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff.

· Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all young people.

· Work cooperatively and pro-actively as part of a team supporting colleagues and the manager.

· Responsible to Team Leaders, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager and Responsible Individual

About You:

· Previous experience in a Support Worker role for at least 6 months.

· Relevant level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or be willing to work towards it.

· Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

· Able to deal with challenging behaviour

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Awareness of child protection and safeguarding
