Complex Care Support Worker
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £15.16 + Holiday Pay

As a Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to a gentleman with Complex Needs. We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker in Doncaster to make a real difference in the life of a gentleman with Tetraplegia. You will support the individual with bowel care, meal preparation, medication and mobility.
The shifts are both day shifts 8:30am to 8:30pm, waking night shifts 8:30pm to 8:30am and the opportunity for sleeping night shifts. The hourly rate is £15.16 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the individual's care plan.
- Supporting PEG feeding with full training provided.
- Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
About You:
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
- Previous experience in a Complex Care Support Worker role for at least 6 months.
- Previous experience supporting non verbal individuals and severe learning disabilities is essential
- PEG Care Experience
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
