Location: Doncaster

Salary: From £12.57 to £13.93 + Holiday Pay

As a Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to a young gentleman with Learning Disabilities and Complex Medical Needs. We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker in Doncaster to make a real difference in the life of an individual with Lennox Gaustaut Syndrome, Epilepsy and severe Learning Disabilities.

We have available 3 x 12 hour night shifts and 1 x 12 hour day shift. Weekend hours are 9am to 5pm on a Saturday and Sunday. You must be a driver with a UK driving license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the individual's care plan.
  • Supporting PEG feeding with full training provided.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
  • Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.

About You:

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience in a Complex Care Support Worker role for at least 6 months.
  • Previous experience supporting non verbal individuals and severe learning disabilities is essential
  • PEG Care Experience
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
