Complex Care Support Worker Part Time Days and Nights

Location: Cottingham, Hull

The hourly rate is between £13 and £14 per hour plus a holiday rate of 12.07%.

We are recruiting a part time Support Worker, for day shifts to join our Complex Care team in Hull. This will be a long term, ongoing 1:1 care placement offering consistent hours, a structured rota and weekly pay. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking stability, flexibility and the chance to build a meaningful working relationship in a dedicated care setting.

You will work 12 hour shifts 9am to 9pm or 9pm to 9am. Applicants MUST have experience with Mental Health and associated health conditions.

You will be supporting a lady with Fibromyalgia and ME

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex needs in their own homes or care settings.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Administer medication and support with clinical procedures (following appropriate training).
  • Support clients in accessing community resources, activities, and social events.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to create and implement care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress and health status.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

About You:

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience in a role within health and social care sector (at least 6 months within the UK).
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are preferred but not essential.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to undergo further training to support the complex needs of our clients.
