We are looking for a caring, professional and reliable Children's Support Worker in Selby. You will be dedicated to making a real difference to the life of a young boy with Global Development Delay, Epilepsy and Long Term Ventilation care.
Various hours available consisting of days, evening shifts and night shifts. You must be available to work every other weekend.
£12.57ph week days + holiday pay 12.07% - £13.93ph weekend days + holiday pay 12.07% - weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the individual's care plan.
- Complex care involving supporting a child who is non verbal, nil by mouth, ventilator management, PEG, suctioning, catheter and other complex needs.
- Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
About You:
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential
- PEG Care Experience
- BiPAP care
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
