Job Introduction
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to an individual with Mental Health Needs such as PTSD, Schizophrenia, OCD, Agoraphobia, alcohol addictions and Anxiety disorders.
We are looking for a caring, passionate and reliable Mental Health Support Worker in Doncaster to make a real difference in the life of a young lady.
Pay rate £13ph week days, £14ph weekends + 12.07% Holiday pay.
NL Group pay weekly.
The hours are as below:
Mon - Thurs 10am to 6pm
Also 24 hour weekend support starting Friday 4pm to Sunday 19:30pm
Employment Type: Contract for Services. We are not currently accepting applications from individuals looking for sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the individual's care plan.
- Supporting domestic and community duties
- Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
About You:
- Previous experience with mental health is essential, this can be in any environment
- Experience with OCD is desirable
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
