Looking for a new and rewarding role as a Support Worker?
You will provide vital care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities and Complex Medical Needs. Making a real difference in the life of individuals with physical disabilities including, tracheostomy and ventilator dependent, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
We are working closely with West Yorkshire Provisions to provide support workers specialising in Complex Care and Learning Disabilities.
Providing support in the following areas, Wakefield, Kirklees and Leeds.
Employment Type: Contract for Services. We are not currently accepting applications from individuals looking for sponsorship.
A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
Part time and full time available.
Day and night shifts available.
Salary £13ph week days, £14ph weekends plus 12.07% holiday pay.
NL Group pay weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the individual's care plan.
- Supporting tracheostomy and ventilator management with full training provided.
- Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
About You:
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
- Previous experience with supporting those tracheostomy and ventilator dependent is beneficial.
- PEG Care Experience.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
