Job Title: Domiciliary Care Worker

Location: York & Pocklington

Work Pattern: Flexible work patter from 6am to 10pm

Employment Type: Part time and full time available.

About this role: We are hiring Domiciliary Care Workers to support people in their own homes. Enjoy flexible hours, rewarding work and the chance to make a real difference in your community. You will help individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your role will include personal care, assistance with daily living activities, companionship, and support with medication management.

Contract for Services. We are not currently accepting applications from individuals looking for sponsorship.

Salary £12.82ph weekdays, £13ph weekends plus 12.07% holiday pay. We pay our team weekly!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal hygiene.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help clients manage their medication and attend appointments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team.
  • Support clients in accessing community resources, activities, and social events.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress and health status.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

About You:

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience in a role within health and social care sector (professional/personal)
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are preferred but not essential.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
